MUST also wear club colours (yellow
shirts, blue shorts) when representing the Club
(i.e. when entering a race as an affiliated
member).
Also it is essential to wear
bright colours when running in the dark to
ensure personal safety and therefore the best
way to do this is to buy a bright yellow Club
top. It also identifies you as an Orpington
Road Runner and please note for your safety it
is not recommended to run in the new
range of black sweatshirts.
The
following kit is available to purchase, using
ONLINE KIT FORM and all website order are
redirected to Jennie Moreton who looks after the
Club kit. Jennie tries to keep a stock of short
sleeve and long sleeve flo yellow tops but the
vests and warm up/cool down tops have to be
ordered. You will be contacted when the items
are available and you can then collect the kit
from Jennie (her home which is close to The
Buff). By collecting the kit from her at home
it gives the member the opportunity to try the
top on to ensure the correct size and then money
can be exchanged for the goods! (Please note
all cheques should be made payable to Orpington
Road Runners.) Please note that stock is
ordered monthly so there may be some delay
between orders and receipt of goods.

sourced from different manufacturers and
therefore the measurements of the sizes vary.

technical running vests are perfect for races.
The vest is double-printed with the ORR triangle
logo on the front, and the Orpington Road
Runners script on the back (to tell people who
we overtake who we are!!!)
Please
note these vests are not a unisex item as the
male vest has larger arm holes than the female
vest.
