2007/08 Nominations

As in previous years, we will be having our own 'mini Oscars' at the Club Dinner Dance. We are looking for nominations in all of the categories below, regardless or not of whether you are able to make it!  Remember, it's just a bit of fun but our way of recognising effort and achievement and we want to consider all options whether the nominated runners have been with the club 20 minutes or 20 years! 
 
Members will have, or will shortly, receive the following Form in the post along with their invite to the dance (follow the link to the left).

Send your nominations to Linda Kemp promptly so that all nominations can be considered!!

The winners listed above under Improver - Best New Runner were in fact for Improvement /Best Achievement. In 2007 the category was split into two, to reflect the large number of new runners who have joined in the last year or so; many of whom have made an immediate impact.

The Running Achiever award could go to a new member or it could go to someone who has been around for a while but who has really achieved something special in running terms this year.

Running Achiever (first awarded in 2006)  

A runner who has achieved their target in an event and/or despite difficult circumstances has achieved something special in the last year.
