Born around the same time as Orpington Road
Runners, a collection of
runners from Blackheath, Bromley and the local
area got together to run around High Elms and
the surrounding countryside.
Meeting in various places over the
years but lately at the third car-park in High
Elms car park every Sunday for a 9am depart,
there are usually two groups - a longer and
shorter one, depending on how we feel on the day
- and also depending on the weather! But
snow, hail, rain, sun, there'll be someone
wanting to hit the countryside for some genuine
off-road, nature-packed run for at least 90
minutes! So set your alarm clock, and
enjoy the beautiful out-of-town experience that
is HEROS!
There are two runs - each ran in Spring and in the Autumn
which fall
under the HEROS banner:
